What are we up to?

We are living in Woodbridge VA and loving it. We now have 2 beautiful little girls, Evelynn and Cora, and look forward to the adventures that are coming our way. We have such a blessed life together and are thankful everyday for our eternal family.

you're a mean one, Mr. Grinch

Down at National Harbor this year, they had an ice display of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". It was 2 million pounds of ice hand sculpted into the Dr. Suess story of the Grinch. We decided it would be awesome to go and made our way down there. They kept the whole display at 9 degrees. It was freezing! They gave us parkas to wear but by the end you are a popsicle; except for Evie who was wearing 2 layers of clothes, a blanket on top of her in the bjorn, a beanie, and my parka on top of all that. When we let her free at the end she was our little space heater! It was such a fun Christmas thing to do and we can't wait to see what they do next year! So, there are a lot of pictures, but I wanted to show you the story with our pictures! I hope you enjoy!
Evie is all snuggled up!!

Down in Who-Ville all the Who's are playing with their toys

while the Grinch is thinking how much he hates Christmas, he decides he's gonna play santa and STEAL Christmas Day!

So he gets his reindeer together, who is his puppy Max and they go into Who-Ville.

While the Who's are all sleeping in their little beds

The Grinch steals their roast beast

and all their Christmas trimming!

The next morning, while waiting to hear them cry, the Grinch hears them singing in a circle and his heart grows 3 times it's size!!

He brings back their Christmas and he gets to carve the Roast Beast!

The End!!
They also had the nativity scene made out of ice with the whole story. By this time we couldn't feel our face or hands anymore so took a quick pic and got out of there!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
